On Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Uptown Theatre in Grand Prairie the first anniversary of Movie Geek Feed will be celebrated with a screening of two films for Star Wars fans! First, Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, celebrating its 10th anniversary, followed by the only DFW screening of Fanboys in a theatre! Yes, MGF is going to correct the oversight of this movie's limited theatrical release. It was NEVER shown in the DFW area!
A Piece of the Action Collectibles will be there to promote the Comic, Toy, & Collectibles Swap Meet (to be held a mere two days later in Addison) with a special Anakin Skywalker Whine-Off"! Think you have what it takes to whine like the big-baby-would-be-Sith-lord? Join the fun at this special event and vie for some great Star Wars prizes! APOTAC will also be selling selected Star Wars and Star Trek merchandise in the lobby! Get there early for the best selection!
